Internships at Cañada de los Osos Ecological Reserve

Four Interns

Some of the local high schools require students to complete community service hours prior to graduation. Cañada de los Osos has provided internship opportunities for young people interested in working in the outdoors. There they find new experiences in learning about natural resources while feeling the dirt and smelling the fresh air.

Research internships at Cañada de los Osos are available for students of San Jose State University and Gavilan Community College interested in the biological sciences. Small stipends are offered to qualified students for 40-60 hours of project work during the summer months. Contact Henry Coletto (henry.coletto@cdlo.org) or Bob Clement (bob.clement@cdlo.org).

The goal of CDLO internships is to get youth involved in hands-on projects to better understand the great outdoors and resource management.
